Field Card

 

The Field Card of Washington Birds is a pocket-sized (3.5" x 6.5") 12-page checklist based on the Check-List of Washington Birds as compiled by the Washington Bird Records Committee.

 

Listed are the 456 species considered to have naturally occurred in Washington within the last 50 years, plus 11 represented by single-person sight records that the WBRC believes are valid.  Also mentioned are five species for which there are historical records (older than 50 years). The list is complete through April 2002. Columns are available on the card for up to six checklists (i.e. by date, observer, location, etc).
